Definitely happy with the sight line when turning at busy intersections and being able to see across the top of the mirror at cars stopped at their stop bar position. However the passenger side definitely needs a little tow mirror added and I’m working on that.    I have a 600 mile trip this week for work, will have a better user review report after that.

Found these 1500 style mirrors with the built in corner tow and the passenger side is convexed for a wider view.    I like them!

overall very pleased with the swap.   I’ll never tow with this truck, it is an urban environment work truck and swapping the mirrors to these work better for how I use it.

84817038 (pass) and 84817037 (driver) for the mirrors.  DLN mirrors are power glass and heat.  No lights/signals, no power fold.  You also need 84732427 and 84732426 upper covers.  Those are the same finish as the mirrors, but you could also use one of the accessory mirror cap kits 84328137 (chrome), 84328136 (gloss black) or 84612941 (Summit White).

As far as the mirrors go, 84817037 is on national backorder.  To have any GM outlet (dealer or parts page) order, they will need a VIN that has that mirror as equipment on the build.  Here's one you should be able to use - Chevy Silverado 2500 HD | Vehicle Listing Details | Vehicle Locator (chevrolet.com)

If you give them your VIN, it will kick back in GM's system saying that part is not applicable to your VIN.

Still the correct part number for a 24 custom with power upper and heat?

I just purchased a 2022 RST Silverado with the towing mirrors and my preference is also to swap these out.  Mirrors do not have blind spot but are heated, power, manual fold-in.  Are these still the right part numbers to get from GM?  Thanks Brian

I love the stock mirrors.....great visibility and dont notice not being able to see thru mirror arm for pedestrians or cars...have power fold so just fold them in when it gets super tight and it does where I live

ND is the real MVP for all that legwork but know you have contributed to the delinquency of an HD.

Hopefully the ones he takes off find a home on some poorly optioned truck that had the baby mirrors stock.

Back in 2016, my sales guy was searching for a truck for me (regular cab K2500HD gasser). Found 1, but has the small mirrors. No thanks I tow a travel trailer. Not sure how easy the upgrade would've been on an LT back then.

Different strokes for different folks but I think the Silverado 1500 mirrors are the worst looking mirrors on any brand truck currently on the market.

I know I'm replying to a year old thread.

how about the ram towing mirrors that doesn't retract
