Installed a New Tesla Style Infotainment for 2019-2023 Silverado/Sierra

Installed a "Tesla Style" infotainment in my 2022 Silverado LTD. This one is from Aucar. It's an Android 13 based operating system that retains the factory Chevy MyLink/GMC IntelliLink, but addes the Android OS features. Pretty unique and cool, but it comes with a hefty price tag. Aucar sent me this unit to install, test and review. Below is my in-depth installation video with feature review at the end. Enjoy

Does anyone know if aliexpress,Aucar,Autotecpro are all the same unit? they all look the same but have slightly different price tags.

Probably. There's a reason they all came out the same time and look the same. Though autotec has a different display listed.

Great video! You shared a lot of good information about this head unit.

Don's Life on YouTube also got one of these sent to him and installed in his 21 Sierra AT4. So far he only did an install video and is going to be posting an actual review and use of it. They claim it works in place of the 7" IOR radios. I'm not sure how the climate controls work since they are very different in the Work Truck and Custom Trims vs the LT and above dual zone controls.

Yes I saw his video too. I go in depth on the features of the unit near the end of my video you can zoom ahead to 27 minute mark to see it in action.

That big screen is not for me there is way too much going on. Unless it dims down at night it has to light up the inside of the cab. To big and looks out of place.

It does dim, and there is a night mode that darkens the interface.

My unit is shipping now, I'll share my experience once received. For us that want an updated look to our interior it seems like a great upgrade. With any new technology I'm sure there will be quirks.

There are 2 seperate versions. One for manual ac controls /7" and one for automatic ac control /8"
