Today is hopefully a trend. We had over 6 users signup and more posts than ever before.  As of a couple of minutes ago GM-T reinforced it dedication to be on top of GM news that matters.

We were the first to report on the US government issued recall on over 1.38 million gm trucks and suv's.

It's taking shape now.

BTW,the news feature is pretty cool.

Nice "name pic"

That news thing would be better if it was fully automated!! Right now either i or Josh have to enter everything in. No big deal.

Running this site is a huge blast! I love it.

This site is cool as s**t, I like it better than GMI!! 100% less posers, dash rubbing, and Import humping from toyota people! :)

Mervz, this might be hard to do but how many of the first members are still coming around? I know that jpshowst is gone to the Dodge site, and what about the early mods how many of them still come around? I know that a few of us are still here by seeing post but their are so many its hard to keep up. :)

My first userID was just over 1000, my second was in the 3000's somewhere, and then I stuck with this one. I've been around about as long as you have.

My only point is, some people either forget what they signed up as or decide to change ID's, and they move/change ISP's, so you can't track them via IP addy. Unless you can get them to fess up, it would be pretty impossible.

I just can't believe how big this site has gotten.

    • I understand that. The price is what it is, though. The price is what oil costs today, where our choices have led us, where supply is, and where demand is, in the market that is. Speculation is for futures, what we think the price will be, but with incomplete information at the time the price is forecast. I know you know this, but you appear to be intent on making a secondary point here about what you think the market could or should be, if only other choices.   In 1975 it became illegal to export US Crude. I'm conflicted on what the best answer is. Free markets allow export in pursuit of profit. But there is also a lot to gain by producing and consuming our own oil here. How do you reconcile it?
    • That sir is a choice. And even if it were not for all the reasons stated, this disruption has zero to do with the reality of the actual logistics and everything to do with the greed of SPECULATION. Spot price is irrelevant to reality.
    • What I think you're saying is there is supply here at home, and in Venezuela, and we could ease pricing if only it were favorable to do so.   Well, yes?   But that's not the current market. Supply isn't what could someday exist, if only, it's what producers are willing to produce and sell at a certain price point.   The national price of single family homes would come way down if we'd just slap together a few million homes this summer.   RAM and GPUs would get a lot cheaper if we just set up some factories to produce a bunch more and stopped using it to build out AI data centers.
    • The turn signal/multifunction switch is faulty.  I've seen a few of these go bad at work.
    • I am experiecing the same issue, I have gone in the setting and disabled rain sensing function but I am still experiencing this. Whe i use my turn signal they will redomly turn on. Sometime they stay on and others times we swipe 2 or 3 times and stop. Its super anoying, escpecially after a fresh wash. Anyone have any advice? . rain-sensing function, but I am still experiencing this issue Sometimes they stay on, and other times we swipe 2 or 3 times and stop. It's super annoying, especially after a fresh wash. When I use my turn signal, they will randomly turn on.
