I just bought a 2008 silverado 1500 4.8l 2wd extended cab and wanted to say hi! i just ordered the dic switch after reading the threads on it. i also have linex over the rail spray liner and they also did my rear wheel wells. Im trying to find a nice oem option for some taller tires once i wear this set out.

Welcome!!!!! Nice truck to! this is the first iv herd Lin-x on wheel wells.. can u get some pics up close? and how much extra was it?

Well i paid 170 dollars extra and got the upgraded line x with kevlar impregnated so the line x dosent fade. Also seals the linex and makes it easier to clean. And i paid 125 dollars extra for wheel wells sprayed because stock the wheel wells were bright white and an eyesore. It was linex of sarasota florida

Welcome to the site, nice truck. Glad to hear you are doing the DIC upgrade, a great idea for trucks that don't have it. How much extra was it to do the line-x in the wheel wells, and can you get us some pics?

125 extra for the wheel wells. I recommend everyone does it. I'll try to get some pics tomorrow at work. I also have the xzilon paint treatment. That was done as a favor though by one of the detail guys at work. I put new axles in his honda and he did the xzilon with some extra he had lying around.

I'd like to get a 2 inch front leveler kit and larger tires for my wheels. I want to keep my truck oem+ which is just small little detail upgrades that look good overall.

 

Future tasks will include pulling a small enclosed trailer to track events and hauling materials for home improvement projects once im able to buy a house.
