Blah, i absolutley love the way a big lifted truck looks. Whats your guys opinions about a lifted 2WD truck. Is it pathetic or acceptable. If you were driving down the road saw a lifted 2x4 what would your opinion be? "hey thats sick" or "hey look at that douche bag wanna be"? I want to lift my 2wd but but i cant afford a 4x4 what would you all do?

I say lift it. Nothing wrong at all, and something to be proud of, after all, it is your baby!! And remember, most mud racers are 2wd, so lift it and be happy!! And post pics!!

Mine is 2WD and lifted only because I couldn't afford a 4x4 either*. I've been on some trails where I was only able to get through because of the extra ground clearance- it can come in handy if your truck ever has to leave the road.

*Pics are in my garage in the bottom of my sig.

^^^that truck looks good

but i always make fun of dudes with a 2wd lifted truck, it makes no sense

If you like the look of a lifted truck, then lift it. I've got a 2WD because I don't need 4WD for any snow/ice/road conditions in TX, and I wouldn't take the truck places that require 4WD often enough to justify the added cost/knock in mileage. Who cares what someone in another car/on the street thinks, it's not their car. I see absolutely hideous rice-burners that sound like a fart coming a mile away, but he must think he's tough cookies.

I'd lift it, hell if I didnt need 4wd here i probably would look at 2wds. You get bettergas mileage, less parts to break, cheaper to buy, and alot cheaper to lift!

Buy the kit, lift the truck, drive the truck, just dont get too carried away and try to tackle ditches and terrain you know you could possibly get stuck in. Either way, nobody would know the difference unless they thoroughly inspect your suspension or ask.
