Landscapers, show us pics of your fleet!

sab316, do you do a lot of plans or just a few here and there for customers? If you do, I would recommend you take a look at some computer design programs, you can plan out a yard and have a good looking plan a lot quicker then by hand. During the busy days of summer I do quite a few, and since we have switched over to computer drawings, my turnover is much quicker.

Yeah it's a sweeper truck. We sweep Wal-Marts, Krogers, strip malls etc.

And I use AutoCAD, Sketchup, then usually color with Photoshop. I draw a decent amount, the first one I just wanted to hand color and the 2nd plan my computer was down and had to meet a deadline. I just like to hand draw alot anyways and people feel like it's more personal. Usually I do a plan in the computer and print out and trace for the "hand drawn" feel.

And yeah it's our family business, dad is phasing his way out now. Been in operation for 20 years now. I've been working there since I was 10, and graduated a year ago with my Landscape Contracting Degree. Right now we're at about 300-400 clients.

Here is a house repossession we did for the bank. Hasn't been touched in over a year. Woof. Gotta love when they give you a job with no price cap on it though. Took myself and 4 of our guys, four 9 hour days to get it back in shape.

We are landscape architects and landscape contractors. We are a family operation started by my father and this is our 31st year in business. I am a landscape architecture graduate working on my professional licensure, and currently a project manager in charge of field operations of the construction side of our business. We focus solely on landscape design and construction including hardscape, concrete, swimming pools, outdoor kitchens, decks, pavilions, arbors, fences, landscape, drainage, night lighting, etc. We do not do lawn maintenance.

This was the oldest existing truck in our fleet, a 1996 isuzu npr powered by a chevy 350. It has since been sold
