6.2 07 Sd Rough Idle

My truck seems to have a rough idle while siting at a red light or in park. Not real bad but you feel a vibration that I wouldnt think you should. No codes showing so anyone have any ideas? The truck has 50k on it.

Mine does it too. I've read and heard that it is normal. Something to do with the cam.

my 08 does that too. installed a CAI and cleaned the MAF, got slightly better, but still there. getting a tune next month, will see if it improves.

Cleaning the throttle body and running a can of Seafoam seemed to help my 09 a bit. I was surprised how dirty the tbody was with only 19k miles!

Seafoam was recommended by 2 different service managers...the stuff works good if your injectors need cleaning...

Did it just start that? Shops around here say it is the emissions standards that make them set the idle very lean to comply & this gives the rough idle..…mine(5.3) has smoothed down and I went to syn oil at 3m and that seemed to help? BG 44K every 15 to 30,000 does help.
