I don't think it has anything to do with ease of the steal. This just shows that our vehicles are the most valued/wanted of the field. I mean GM trucks are pretty damn sexy.

I had an 02 Z06 and traded for an 07 Sierra. My insurance only went down about $50 every 6 months. Now I know why.

Yeah, GM trucks and SUV's.......... Longest lasting thing on the road. Sounds like some people are making a living off fast paint drying parts (uh that be stolen parts in case you missed the punch line).....

It would piss me off to loose one due to theft...

I don't know about other manufacturers but I know GM doesn't really put effort into keeping these vehicles theft-proof. The hardest part of stealing one of these is making sure no persons/cameras are watching. Getting in and getting it started is easy. Trust me, I'm not the only person who wants my truck.
