8000 Miles Without Oil

I guess I will never understand why people don't do their own oil changes, am I missing something?............so simple.

 

I did mine for ages but now living in an apartment and all my tools being 900 miles away the dealer can deal with it.

I change my truck oil but take my car to Mr Lube, my car filter is sideways on the back of the engine and makes a mess.

 

The main reason people don't do their own oil, is time, mess, and disposal.

 

It really doesnt save much to do it yourself I just like doing it if its not that messy.

Hmmmm...very doubtful that any motor could do this w/o overheating.

 

+1 on this, you would have seized the motor way before the miles you drove.
