I use my truck I take it down dirt roads I load the back up with my bikes, I move furniture and yes I get groceries with it too!

It is a "mamby pamby" truck it has heated leather seats, heated windsheild washer fluid it has a sunroof a tv screen for the people in the rear seat it even has navigation.

it is my primary vehicle and it gets used on a regular basis I enjoy having all the bells and whilstles that are associated with my fully loaded "mamby pamby truck"

Last time I checked I cant fit my motocross bikes in the back of a minivan or crossover s.u.t. I wouldnt feel as comfortable driving a crossover down a dirt road. But I guess GM or any other company that produces trucks should not fufill my needs and the needs of like mine by completely bypassing this market segment.

according to the OP we should have a crap interior and have to drive something beat up in order to be truck owners. Man I should agree with him I am going to get rid of my forced air heating in my house and make sure to throw away my HD tv's as well as cancel my internet. I am going to get rid of my Mach 5 razor and use sandpaper to shave! screw luxuries I am the owner of a half ton pickup!

seriously find something better to complain about it makes you sound a little bit "mamby pamby"

You could shave with this...

GM along with other manufacturers make different model and trim level trucks because everyone does NOT want or need the same equipment. Not everyone uses their truck for just work, or just haling groceries. If you don't want all the options and "fancy gadgets", go with a work truck (for work).

i dont know about anyone else, if someone offered me a 2011 CCSB Silverado 1500 WT or a 2011 CCSB Silverado 1500 LTZ i sure as hell would take the LTZ even if its what you would "Mamby Pamby" truck. your the one who would look like an idiot rolling down your windows with your pleather.

WT,LS,LT,LTZ,SL, SLT, Denali, they all can do the same exact thing.

I have been reading some forums talking about what they would like to see on the 2013 chevys. I think most of these people just just buy a dang mini van. Trucks are meant to be trucks, not pretty boy grocery haulers. Truck interiors are meant to be used and abused. Interiors should be made with that in mind, not "this truck isn't soft inside". If you want soft, get a crossover.

all that being said, i love my new silverado LT.

AMEN TO THIS!!!! Bunch of girls on this forum that want to yap about trade in values on their three month old truck.

I guess I will go scratch up my bed now to make mine look like a 'real' truck.

Both are offered to fit everyone's taste. Pretty good idea from GM I must saw. They just follow supply and demand. Right now, fewer people want work trucks.

some day i hope to be cool enough to drive a real truck

I guess i better go and get that engine hoist out of the back of my truck before it realizes that its not a real truck and spontaneously combusts. Good thing we got my buddies 3-1 mill/drill/lathe setup today... if i would've read this thread first we would've had to go rent a "real truck" to pick up my engine hoist from the shop

i bet you could actually make a profit swapping interiors with someone with a CCSB GMC WT and plus you'll get to be a badass with a WT interior

I like my well-equipped truck and non-beat-to-hell interior. Sure, I use it as a truck but since it's my only vehicle and I also do a lot of driving for work, I wanted something comfortable, aesthetically pleasing, and with "useful" amenities. If I had the luxury of being able to own a second vehicle I'd probably just have a WT.

well heres how i see it, if you want a truck thats a work horse, get a 3/4 or bigger, get one with rubber floors and vinyl seats and you wont have to worry about anything. ive got an slt and i love it, its comfortable to drive it, rides nice, ive had a couple hundred pounds in the back already and didnt feel it. if it wasnt sitting at the dealership for the 7th time this month id likely have my trailer hooked up to it with one of my bikes on it just to see how well itll tow, and i know itll tow just fine. i use it for work, i lay tiles nad hardwood. we have a work van that we load up with tools but this one will see its share of heavy loads in the bed aswell. but its my primary vehicle and a reason i bought it over a van to keep as a secondary. paying insurance on one vehicle akes more sense than on two. this way when i wash the truck she shines up nice, i can throw the wife and some friends into it as its a crew cab and we can take off for a day and be comfortable, and when its time for work shes more than happy to do it. its a nice combo of what i need it to be. if i wanted a strickly work horse truck i would have gone 3/4 or 1 ton but i really didnt need it. im buying an enclosed trailer next year after my wedding that ill haul behind this thing for bigger work loads. some people want a grocery getter, some people want a work horse of a truck, some of us want a combination of both :rollin:

The irony of this dude driving a half ton LT is just baffling.

I bet the pansy heats his house in the winter and cools it in the summer. What a candy-ass. :rollin:
