Sagging Bumper Fix?

anybody tryed loosening the two bolts holding the bumper on and realigning it? i heard if you loosen them the bumper will pop itself back into place?

hit a deer going maybe 10 miles an hour and it disaligned the bumper slightly

i asked if anybody has tryed this, not if anybody knew how to loosen the bolts..take a pill man lol

My front bumper was misaligned, but it was not the bolts. It looks like the bolts are not slotted, on mine it was the actual bracket. I bent the bracket back and its good as new.

yes that was a thought of mine also, i can peek in and see the two brackets just beyond the cooling slits in the bumper and they seem sound, how big of a pain in the ass was it to take the brackets off?

Wasn't too bad, but you have to take your time. I see that you have a Silvy, and I have a Sierra. On the Sierra I took the lower plastic valiance (that was a pain) and then I could see the entire front including the mounts. I am not sure how to take the Silvy ones off(different bumper design). I actually didnt take the brackets off the truck, I was able to bend them back on the truck (using a jack and the weight of the truck). The brackets are kinda weak to begin with, but it worked. And yes I know it is not the proper way but if you take your time it works.
