I have a 2010 c/c 1500 with a 5.3 and 6 speed.is the transmission a 6L80E? want to get the vette servo and when i saw the transmission lists i had a mental fart. RPO MYC

A 2010 with the 5.3 or 6.2l should come with the 6l80. The heavy duty trucks come with the 6l90. You can't add a corvette servo to a 6l80. A Corvette Servo will only fit 4l60, 4l65 & 4l70 transmissions.

Thanks, that's one of the reason I would like a newer truck though the 6l80 & a 6.2l. Yeah a tune is awesome, one of the best mods that I have done to my truck so far.

6l80 is one tough transmission, I doubt your half ton will break anything.

Yes, they are way stronger. Only thing I would change in my truck, a 6l80 instead of 4l70.
