2012 Color Changes?

Does anyone know if there are any color changes for 2012?

 

Hoping for a dark red again!

The only new color for 2012 is Silver Ice metallic.. Sheer Silver has been deleted, as well as Taupe Gray, and Steel Green

What color did you order? I'm partial to the burgundy's too (I've had 4 trucks burgundy), but VERY pleased with the Storm Gray Metallic. Because of the metal fleck, it hides the dirt better than you'd think.

I find it odd that the Taupe Gray metallic only was available for two years! I have it a love the colour!

Sheer Silver. My fav is red but 4 of my buddies trucks are red so I couldn't go that way.

 

I like the dark gray too but decided on silver with the Z71 appearance package. It will be debaged and de-stickered minutes after it comes home, if I take it. Still no sales incentives out yet for May.

I too like burgundy or dark red metallic colors. However, I am happy with the graystone (silver gray) metallic color of my truck too.

Wow sheer silver eliminated.

 

This may have something to do with the earthquake over in Japan. They make some special paints and with the issues that have they are unable to make some metallic colors. A guy at work here has a vette and I forget what color but he was just informed the color has been discontinued. He hopes he never has to re-paint.

I would really like to see dark green brought back. Doesn't seem like anyone is making anything green with the exception of the brightest shade.

How does Silver Ice campare to Sheer Silver? I know Silver Ice is a color available on the Camaro.

Glad I got Wolfy when I did. I really like the Taupe Gray. Almost like having a black truck without the constant cleaning/swirl marks/etc.

Totally agree. I would love a deep green. When I bought my Taco in 2008 I commented to my sales guy how I wished Tpyta kept the green from the older models. He said he missed it too. Guess what color came back in 2009? oh well, they also made the tails ugly in 2009 as well so I wasn't too mad.

I would like to see the charcoal gray metallic from around 2000-2002, the dark green metallic from around 2004-2006, and the graystone metallic from 2009. I really liked those colors a lot.

 

I've never been a fan of those dark red metallic colors. I dated a girl who had a car that color, and she would paint her nails to match the color of her car. Ever since then, I haven't liked that color on a truck.
