Just ordered my Edelbrock E-Force Supercharger from Jegs.Edelbrock hasn't even started shipping them yet.ETA is June 28.Can't wait to give that L9H about 7lbs of boost. The kit comes with a 3.750 diameter pully, every .250 decrease in pulley diameter gives 2 more pounds of boost.Since the injectors are able to flow E85, the injectors along with the fuel pump are more than up for the job of providing plenty of 93 octane.

Do you gave to run 93 octane with that supercharger? Id like it to but hate to fill up with 93 all the time.

I'm pretty sure you will have to use the higher octane all the time. That is what the Edlebrock Tech guy told me when i talked with him before i place my order.I'm going to use my truck for a weekend venicle.I have a beater that sips gas that i drive the rest of the time

This is the latest picture of my recently purchased GMC Sierra SLT. A neat little thing the previous owner did was,he put stainless steal 6.2 emblems next to the Sierra emblems on the doors and tailgate.I'll post a close up picture of that soon.

Just ordered my Edelbrock E-Force Supercharger....

I'm jealous! I'd love to be able to supercharge my truck but I just can't swing the $$$. Oh well.... I can't complain. The stock 6.2 is no slouch.

Enjoy your truck. It's nice already and getting nicer all the time.

Has anyone installed a PVC oil catch can? Any downside from this?

Just got back from our first long (3,770 miles-3 weeks) trip towing our travel trailer (wieght around 6,000 pounds) Real pleased with the 6.2L and NHT package. We went from Louisiana to Georgia, then to North Carolina (Ashville) and up some pretty steep grades (7%). Then headed up I-81 and on to New Jersey to visit our daughter and grandkids. Then back to Lousiana. Drove mostly 63-65 mph and averaged 9.8 mpg on the way north and 9.6 back south (headwinds). Used mostly 93 octane gas with a couple of 91 octane tanks along the way. This truck is a towing beast!

Good to hear MPG numbers like that seeing as how that's the size tt I am looking into for next year and was expecting worse, honestly.

Currently my truck, Non-NHT but 6.2, doesn't even know my pop-up is behind me. I pulled down 14.5 MPG pulling it a few weeks ago through some of Northern Michigan's hills but I also had a full load of goods in the bed, the a/c on and the cruise set at 72 MPH.

Are you planning on installing the supercharger yourself? If so, let us know what challenges you faced. Edited by Pdub_28

If so, let us know what challenges you faced. Edelbrock offers two warranties to cover any motor or trans damage from installing the supercharger, but it has to be installed by an ASE certified mechicanic or GM Dealer or Authorized Edelbrock installer,so i'm not going to do it myself. The Edelbrock Certified shop in my area want 1500.00 to install it.Then he wants another 650.00 to tune it over and above the tune that comes with it,and this will void the warranty. He tells me he can get 35 to 45 more horsepower at the wheels with his custom tune.I think i'm just going to have him install it with the provided tune and drive it that way for a while.I don't want him to put a tune on it that puts it on the ragged edge of breaking ring lands off of pistons if i get some bad gas.It will be delivered tomorrow.I have a question on downloading pictures to this site. What is the best way? I have been struggling to post pictures,i'm not sure if pix of my truck are even viewable, can you see the one i put up? I can't !!!!
