more power

I was just curious if anyone knew of any parts besides a throttle body spacer or a CAI that would add power and torque to my 5.3L?

First off neither of those are going to help. A Blackbear tune would make a huge difference. Then I would go from there depending on how much you want to spend.

x2!

A custom tune will make a big difference in performance and overall drivability. Tune, Cam swap, higher stall converter, long tube headers and gear swaps are the big power adders. Most everything else will just be wasting money.

Lol. Thanks for the input but I'm definitely not upset with the 5.3s power. Just looking for some things I could have fun doing in my garage.

While the TB spacer is worthless the CAI kit will add some power. I have done back to back test in the past and picked up 10-15rwhp on some of my previous cars.

I bought a K&N drop in for my truck and the airaid intake tube and called in good on mine. Was going to tune the truck since I have HP Tuners already, but since I am on the hunt for a Z06 I am waiting so I can use my credit on the vette first.

a cai is worth the installaton in my opinion, but the tb spacer is worthless and has been proven so by theory and also testing.

Cold air intake definitely make a difference. Cat back exhaust and a tuner, along with the CAI, can really wake the 5.3 up. My son used my 2009 to practice at the track, just to learn the staging lanes, how to manuever the staging lanes, etc. With the CAI and Magnaflow, it was running a best of 16.54 in the 1/4 mile. The next week, all I did was install the 93 tune and fill up with higher octane gas.....she ran 15.80's all night!
