Rims and Tires

Hey guys new to the forum here. Im currently in college and have a 09 silverado regular cab. I have added a tonneau bed cover and power locks since I got it. My next add will be rims and tires. I have decided to add the rockstar xd series rims. My question to you guys is if you think I can fit 20's with 33 in tires?. Would it be better to get 295"? For those who have gotten a similar combination how much did you spend? I went to some local places and there saying it would be like $2700. Let me know what you guys think.

doesn't matter what size your rims are. you can fit a 33" diameter tire with a 2" front level per most peoples' experience. what diameter do you think 295" is? Did you mean 29.5"? you can fit 32 to probably 32.5 with no level. gotta get the right rim offset too.

I'd say a 285/55R20

Welcome to the site. This question gets asked probably 100 times per week. The search function is a glorious thing.

 

Short answer: with 20's and a leveling kit, 305/50/20 and 275/60/20 are the most popular sizes to run without trimming, as long as you stay with a positive offset on your rims.

Thanks for the response, my bad yea I meant 29.5 and yea it seems like I will go with the leveling kit for sure since the nose down is pretty annoying. Ill definitely check up on the sizes you guys suggested thanks. Hope to get them soon and post a pic.
