Drum brakes are a a PITA!!!! Got the back brakes done! Glad he knew what he was doing!

We had to cut a hole in the rim to get a big ass pry bar in there to get it off. We spent a solid two hours struggling with getting one tire off then the drum took 30 minutes of pounding to get off.

Got a new Edelbrock carb on it as well thanks to my buddy, he gave it to me for free as well as some LT headers. Truck is one step closer to running ! Just got get front done and get three tires, and some fine tuning!

I thought this thread was about what we did to our trucks, not where we parked or ate?

Took my 02 out for most of the day yesterday. Ran her down the highway and I don't remember having all those vibrations coming from it. Around 85 the truck felt like it was gonna come apart. Something must be out of balance, I hope lol

That comes from riding in that fancy new truck.

Oh no, it definitely shouldn't be there lol but it is definitely a lot nicer to drive than my 02 that's for sure haha

No ice. It was almost 60 yesterday lol. I think it has something to do with the steep gearing, tire size, and the front driveshaft. Think it is spinning too quickly because of the gears and tires are worn down to like 33's from 35's haha

Dad asked me to drive his 09 because he felt like trans was slipping. Drove it to go do some errands to see what he was talking about. Clearly transmissions have a thing for me because now his 6l80e is shot. 180k on it. Guessing that's the expected life out of the 6 speeds??

Gave it a wash after the nice salt storm (2" of snow) we had here

Haven't had time to wash mine but I am REALLY liking that deep rumble from the Borla, I've been standing behind it and using the remote start to listen to the start up sound, really happy.

My stock exhaust with the 6.2 sounds nice. Wonder how a new exhaust would sound?
