The ones I pulled out were AC Delco.

I was friggin' amazed they actually used anti-seize compound on the threads. Miracles never cease!

I have bought ACD's from the dealer that were marked NGK.

Well, that explains the striking similarities. I didn't know that. Interesting. Never know who makes what these days!

Had to have something to show. But the original install didnt work right. Dodnt put out enough power to charge Samsung phones that needed 2A+. So my S5 and their S4's wouldnt charge with it. Had to change that setup in may prior to our trip to Willow Springs.

Did you install a wireless charging pad on the center console lid?

Yep, $25 3 coil Qi charger. Gutted it, took the lid apart, punched a wireless charger sized hole, and a hole for the USB wire to go through. Then put the rubber liner back on the lid and done. I haven't hardwired it yet, but I'll get around to that. It works with my S6 with lifeproof, also works good with an S6 edge in a Speck case. Edited by kstruckcountry

Finally got around to installing PowerStop brakes front and rear Z36 pads and rotors with PowerStop shoes on the rear. Huge improvement over OEM, it's like driving a different vehicle while stopping. Best upgrade to my 2010 so far.

Feels near identical to the EBC's and Hawk rotors on my 2008. After towing with the 2010, i'll know for sure but it feels about the same.

Looks like I'll have to try that out when the time comes. I have EBC Yellows on the front, with the OEM shoes out back. Been very happy with it.

The brake job before this one, I used Wagner ThermoQuiets front and rear. ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE! From the very first application of the brakes, I was regretting my purchase. I have the same brakes in our '86 Grand Marquis, and that thing will put you through the windshield with little pedal effort. Total opposite result on the truck. Could have been non-metallic pads I got - that would explain alot. Towing was frightening. Had to stand on the brakes, even with the trailer doing most of the stopping. I put up with that for a year or more before I finally threw the pads and shoes in the trash, with many years of life still left in them. I just couldn't take it anymore. The EBC solid rotors, pads, and rear shoes brought back the feel it had off the showroom floor ... minus the pulsation. The break-in procedure was similar, but I have always used that same procedure with all brakes.

I'm curious to hear how good this setup will be.
