Err... GM tells me a have to order whole inner door panel for broken handle. $430. Latch mech is plastic welded to inner panel.

 

Found replacement handle kit on amazon, $36. With Chase points $0

Been in a warehouse for a few years. Still warrantied like a tire made yesterday.

That's the GM we all know and ... hate.

 

Think of how much money that company would make if they would just ONCE make an effort to stop screwing us every chance they get. Make the parts affordable, reasonable, and GOOD for a change - I'll friggin be the first in line to buy them!

Yes, mine broke 10 years ago. Replaced it, and it broke again. So now I just know where the sweet spot is to press the linkage with my finger. No one else can figure it out (in my family at least), so it's almost like my own personal security box!

Surprised mine hasn't broke yet. I did have the 4x4 dial switch intermittently fail almost from day 1. Dealer could never seem to fix it, and never did. I ended up finding one on eBay for $20.88 a couple years ago. FIXED, finally.
