Found out I have a bad ball joint. State inspection was due last month, so went ahead and ordered two upper control arms complete with ball joints and bushings. Moog quality, $75 a piece I'll have them by Friday. Gotta love Amazon Prime. Get it in next week for an inspection, body shop will take truck back the 15th to correct their mistakes and some other things I found wrong when I got it back from them after they worked on it after my accident

You aren't exactly a ringing endorsement for that place.

Nope. I will say it's part their fault and part 3rd party adjuster. Based on reviews they are one of the best in my area, about 90% of body shops in my area are just chain places and they all have pretty bad reviews

Cut a hole in the inside of my hood to work the dent out. It's better than it was, but the metal is crinkled now which I was expecting anyhow.

Wouldn't have PDR worked better without needing to cut anything?

Probably not. It was creased pretty bad plus as many other dents as there are on the rest of the body I'm not paying for PDR. It's getting a new hood eventually anyhow.

I replaced the light bulb on my truck's left headlight.

uggh. I don't envy you.

Brought it home finally, dealer had it since last Friday. There were a couple trucks with pretty much the same problem as mine. Dealer hadn't seen it before so apparently that's why it took so long. The fuel hose near the rail kinked/collapsed. I'm just glad to have my truck back and to have gotten rid of that horrible Encore they gave me as a loaner.

They even put $50 of fuel in it. Forgot to write the mileage down when I gave it to them so I don't know exactly how many miles they put on it trying to diagnose/recreate the problem and checking the fixing of the problem. Got the truck back with more fuel than when I took it in so I guess that's a plus too. Just messes with my super anal logging of everything, oh well.

Well, it's awful for over the road driving. Can easily travel over an 800 mile range in 24 hours.

It was so much better when Chase handled the card.

I find everything with the GM badge on it a PITA these days ...

I haven't driven her much except to work a few times but she just got 21 gallons of 91 at $2.29! With this tankful she should be hitting 240,000 miles... she's only 62 miles away.

And I should begin cleaning her today, or at least get the mud off. I then need to replace the cabin air filters and check the engine filter, she saw a lot of dust last week.

Drove mine yesterday on about a 115mi trip. Seemed to do pretty good on gas even using the A/C.

Went a few towns over with my zero turn in the truck today to mow my parent's lawn, and to get my brother's lawn mower running that sat outside under a tarp for 3 years. Started one pull with fresh gas. Of course we drained tank and carb prior to putting it there.

Lighting was shooting out of the plug boot -guess it was a little dry rotted, lol. Had a kill switch issue after it ran a while too, which shut it down instantly. After I pulled the top off and fixed it, my brother was holding the plug by the boot as I pulled it over to check for spark. He fell over on his ass after getting shocked, LOL. Has spark now! Then I got shocked putting dielectric grease on the boot while it was running. Figured the grease would insulate better than that. That thing is a menace!

Had 9 lbs. in the airbags with the 700+ lb. mower in back. Was perfect.

On the subject of mileage, mine SUCKS lately. Might have an issue rearing it's head. Fuel trims have been on the rich side - 12% - probably just under the light threshold. Hand calculated mileage yesterday was 13.6. Normally gets 15 to 16. Should be fun trying to figure that one out.
