I was more talking about MA state government. MA is well known as the welfare capitol of the world. Everyone who doesn't feel like working comes here to live for free. All you have to do is have a few kids. They'll pay for your car, rent, heat, food, electricity, cell phones, and health care. All you have to do is keep having kids.

Who said anything about "making it"? I've got it damn good where I'm at. Worked my entire life to get here, at some of the toughest jobs there are.

And we sit and wonder where all our tax money goes, as our roads go to hell and destroy our vehicles ...

My apologies, I wasn't referring to you directly. More like to the general population.

If it was gonna fall off, I'd have taken it down.

Some people aren't born with money trees in their backyards, ya know ...

Guy busted his balls his entire life as a mason, and now has asthma and COPD, and is on disability. Don't forget, he lives in MA too - one of THE most expensive places on the PLANET to live.

Guess if he was an illegal, the government would just make payments for him on a new one ...

Nope... I wasn't either... I made my own money tree from scratch. A sob story is the way of the now... This province is full of them living off the government spending 167% as compared to what they make. It's going to end fairly soon.

My cousin was following me somewhere earlier and told me my rear left tire was kind of wobbling going down the road. So I pointed my mirror at it and sure as shit I could see it in my mirror ever so slightly. That's the side that slid into the ditch during my wreck. It's going in on Monday for them to look back over everything bc the adjuster clearly didn't do a good job. Gonna point it out. Maybe I can just collect money on everything they missed, buy my own stuff and put the rest of it in my pocket. Already have a set of wheels picked out for a good price considering I need at least 2 of my current wheels and if they go factory they will add up to the same as a set of 4. Here's a pic, basically an aftermarket look alike of the GMC All Terrain wheels

Btw, who's your insurance company?

Oh okay. I was hoping it wasn't State Farm.

Had state Farm on the lifted truck, this truck is through company insurance. They are a pain in the butt to deal with. State Farm was definitely easier considering we had a good relationship with our agent, same with nationwide (old company insurance) but we had been members for over 10 years and they kept raising the rates with no breaks even though we had maybe 1 or 2 claims. Oh well

I had a State Farm adjuster do the estimate on my 6.2L and he cut it way short. Had a bunch of trouble dealing with that.

I keep getting a different story from each person I talk to about who did the adjustment. First I was told the body shop was handling it, called them they said no insurance is sending a rep out and then the bosy shop told me it was some 3rd party adjuster that my insurance company hired. Whoever did it missed some things but I will say that they weren't exactly the most obvious issues either, other issues could have been resolved if the body shop actually test drove the truck afterwards and looked it over thoroughly

3f4a237b13713b7f2f65b806b0c34503.jpg sorry for the old photo but just picked up the oil and oil filter (GTX 5-30 High mileage and Fram high mileage oil filter) to perform an oil change on my trusty old 94 Silverado at 315 000km last 80 000km were hard oilfield/farm KM what a great truck I wish I could buy a brand new 1994 Silverado from GM these new trucks suck I don't care what you guys think the 88-98gm trucks were probably the best built trucks of all time. I highly doubt anyone will ever build a better truck Sept maby Toyota.

Took my truck in to get the front windows retinted since I messed them up. Ended up getting the 5 windows tinted instead, I guess I'll find out if this fancy ceramic stuff keeps my truck cooler. After I got my truck back went to a friend's house and took a truck load of her stuff to goodwill. Then loaded the bed back up with furniture she was throwing out and took it to the dumpster. Found out I had a headlight out, picked up a set of bulbs on the way home. Found out I never want to change the bulbs on this truck ever again. I miss the absolute simplicity of my '06 and '01. Odd part is I never had a headlight go out on either one of those trucks with all the night driving I did.

Should've kept that '86! :)

Had more fun yesterday. A '95 S10 pickup with 230k miles or so. Door pins so bad the door wouldn't even shut. Someone had welded a nut to the top of one of the pins to hold it in place. Holes were the size of quarters! Door would drop 4".

Had to cut the pins out (was only half of one bushing left out of the 4), then weld 3 of holes smaller, and drilled them to size. Then had to install a door latch, and weld the strike pin, since the body was all split where it mounted, and I basically just tore it off with pliers. I should've got a pic of that. I was stressing out thinking I'd never get the damn thing line up again- only had one shot! Thankfully it worked.

To add to the fun, it was 76° with a 75° dew point. I was SOAKED!

Get to weld the exhaust back together today, and replace a lower ball joint in that C1500 rust bucket.
