Ryan, do you really need the giant toolbox? If not, you could probably fit the stuff you had hanging out back on the hitch safely in the bed.

Yeah a toolbox would look big in a short bed.

Had a buddy come up from California, and he had never been to Wyoming, so I showed him around. Ol' Clyde did fantastic, getting 21 mpg over ~600 miles, with idling, city driving, highway driving, and interstate driving. I'd say the AFM and the ethanol free premium are a dynamite combo.

Did some wandering the past week beforehand. I really like the scenery around here.

It doesn't protrude from the cap rails much, like mine isn't a low profile, Ryan's is. His doesn't have a tall upper portion like mine. Here's mine for comparison:

See how tall the upper portion is above the rails compared to Ryan's?

I almost ran the Range Rover into the gate. My score with that thing is 1 hit and 1 close call

Eh. Unless you're in the Jackson or Star Valley area.. you can't get out of boring ol Wyoming fast enough. It's like driving thru Kansas... At least Kansas is greener though.

Sunday/Monday installed some LED bars/pods. Lights up real nice when I put it in reverse now.

Today

Dropped it off at the dealer since the fuel filter ran dry again. Maybe they'll figure it out this time.

At least this time they gave me something that slightly resembles a truck. Be nice if they'd give you something even close to comparable to what you're getting fixed. The Beast weighs more than this tiny thing's gvwr lol. Still better than that Encore they gave me last month. Interesting how even though this has a v6 the estimated miles for the tank arevabout half of what mine shows with a full tank. I'll have to check and see what it shows after I've driven it for a while. Probably doesn't have enough drive time on it to be anywhere near accurate.

It's a loaner, probably treated like a rental. It might have a "stroke" if you drive it normal.

Loaner yes, but I'm assuming I'm the first real driver since it had 7 miles and 1.1 engine hours. I did figure out it has an auto lock/unlock tailgate. I don't do vehicle break in periods so... Yeah :-D. Won't be stupid with it but I'm not going to baby it, I don't baby mine sure as hell not going to baby this.
