Not really anymore. We had an awesome place in Ramey, it was an old strip mine, but they recently closed it down. Sucks because it was awesome.

Looks like the filter for the 6.6 with a giant rubber reducer.

Looks like it was time to change it

Round? The stock filter in my 6.6L is sorta squarish.. kinda. Maybe.

For the longest time the 6.6 duramax had a round filter. Changed to rectangular in 2011 model.

In the waiting period for my new license plate

Today I drove my truck to work, which just does not happen that often (driving it, not going to work).

Washed it.

Renamed it to "Christine." It was the "Road Bullet" for years, but since it no longer tows heavy and is lifted, the name just does not work. Christine came to me when I walked behind it today to find that once again, the left license plate light assembly was hanging from the bumper. I have replaced it, verified the bumper is not worn, etc., but yet it still drops out every now and again while just sitting in the driveway. So, now Christine can do "whatever" while parked, and I will just accept it.

I also wiped the front lower bumper down with Wipe New Trim Restorer. I did the other plastic on the exterior a few weeks ago and it is still looking awesome, so I decided to take a few minutes and do the front bumper. The bumper was not faded like the mirrors and rear step were (sits in the sun all day), but it did have some white spots from waxing. Now she looks good again.

Filled up with some more 91 and checked the tire pressure for the first time since they were mounted in July. They were a bit low but I aired up to 39 up front and the usual 38 in the rear.

The oil is now at 3,xxx miles but I will be changing it soon for piece of mind, it has been in there since March. I just bought another 6 quarts of gtx magnatec and an ac delco filter for whenever I have time for it.
