Not 100%. Knee we assume hit the dash. Was swollen and had drained yesterday. MRI scheduled for this week. Considering the accident that’s pretty minor.

Yeah, weren't those called out as being knee injury prone? Guess that was true

Doubt it’s just that model.

Insurance got back to him. 09 base model canyon with 18K miles take a guess at what they offered (I was surprised in a good way). Private party on nada was roughly $9600.

$8500?

I changed my oil this evening, Amsoil XL. 10,100 miles on this change, no oil added. Consumed about 1/2 quart.

Ordered new lowbeam bulbs. The Philips in there were in the pickup when I got it in 2011. Needless to say, that's what's going back in.

People wonder why I hate leaving my neighborhood! Unreal! Anyone get any info, or was it a hit-n-run? People suck ...

Had some fun at the local fair this past weekend. Neighbor entered his '03 Sable - was all rotted out. Almost fell off my lift from the rust, LOL! Wasn't anything to support the car on! Anyway, he held his own! Ended up with 3rd place, and a pocket full of cash.   Fuel line was kinked in HALF, and return line was  hanging right out in the open ... but yet, she still ran like this!! Took me a 5 hours to get 3 gallons out of the thing when we drained the tank via scan tool, lol.

Guy stayed. Older gentleman tried to change lanes as traffic started moving. They exchanged info, police wouldn’t do a report not enough damage. Wife called insurance and they said that’s normal and not to worry (mother in law works for the agent). They called his insurance this morning and they are taking care of it. Waiting to hear from adjuster tomorrow

Update on my dad. MRI showed multiple fractures in the leg. Rest and no weight appx 2-3 months. He is 3.5 months from retirement

Hope all goes well with your dad!  Tell him to take it easy.

I cleaned up the garage.  Got all the spiders out and sprayed Ortho Home Defense.  That stuff works well but only for about three months and then you have to reapply.  Keeps the bugs out at least.

Wow bad week for your people. Nice on the insurance part though. That's a sucky way to start retirement, hope it heals well.

Yea not going well. Had to take the dog to the vet for an illness today. He got to ride in the truck. Surprisingly he jumped right in.
