The coldest it gets around here is like -1/-5.. In jan & feb it normally warms up to 15 to 25

Although I don't have a pic, the coldest I have been in was -37F in Winnipeg back in Dec 2009. Totally sucked!

Wow, we don't see temps like that around Indiana usually. Coldest I remember launching the boat to duck hunt on the river was 6 F. Thats was one cold morning.

Ya that pic is just average jan temps, after awhile -20 doest seem to bad lol. you get "climatized" lol.

I've seen -55c without the wind in fort mcmurray. Ive worked in wind chills in the -60's. I have a 2011 cummins for a work truck also, after -35 just leave trucks running 24/7, it's harder on them I shut them down and try starting than it is to just run..

In my own truck I run anti-gelling additive in every single tank of fuel, If its not running it's plugged in. I have block heater and oil pan heater, or park in my garage. It starts up just fine -40 if its plugged in tho.

I worked in 14-20 below zero outside, which required me standing still in a windy breezeway for half an hour at a time. that was rough. It's different if you can keep everything moving.

And wow, negative temps seem really cold now that I'm back in a place where it gets above freezing most days.

I always make fun of people here that start plugging in their diesels when it gets down to 40. Even know a few guys with gassers that plug in, it's funny because you'll need a battery warmer before a block heater in a modern gasser. The 'Burb did great starting, other than the frozen coolant issue, haha. It managed over 14mpg on the entire trip, and we let it warm up long too.

I hope y'all are enjoying the sub zero temps. It was 60 something here. Felt good riding around with the windows down

Hahaha I don't even plug my truck in unless it's colder then -25°C and it might sit for a few days. It always starts fine.
