If only the tie rod end is bad there's no need to replace the inner part, correct?

And 2 moogs with shipping at rockauto are $70, but a single one at oreillys is $6x!

Might as well replace the inner and outer at the same time since you'll need an alignment.

More bad news for VW. You can find a preview of the 2017 A4 where Consumer reports said Audi was expecting 40 mpg for the gas version. EPA has it rated 25/33. A turbo 4 pot!

That worse highway economy than my Accord, with a V6, more power, and conventional auto.

What happened to the "German Engineering"?

If this is their next step to the new Cafe numbers they are going to be in trouble!

Have to give the town looser shit cause for one when I'm not working or tinkering on my truck or quad I'm doing yard work I like a nice yard but this guy is a pig there yard is just filthy junk scattered everywhere including old tires and car parts grocery cart you name it they have it laying in there yard in town and grass has never bin cut and they wanted to know if they could take the blown 5.3 vortec out of there beat up 2000 Chevy and put a carburated 305 in from some junk truck in there back yard now I have no respect for the 5.3 but I also have no respect for carburetors I absolutely hate carbs and I hate coming across fuel injected to carburetor conversions online. I get so mad and fusterated now why in the hell would you want to go from good old reliable fuel injection for a stupid carb I get so mad I almost want to lay a beating on the people that do them swaps fuel injection is the only way to go the last carburated truck I had was a 85 fully loaded Silverado and the carb was a constant problem so was the dual tanks I got so fusterated I had the truck crushed. Heck if I could buy a fuel injected lawn mower I would.

^^^ LOL!

Taylor, I feel totally opposite on carburetors. I would much rather have something I can tune with a $2 screwdriver than a $2k scan tool.

I ripped the FI off my POS '00 Jimmy, slapped a carb and HEI distributor on it, and threw the engine in my '89 S10 Blazer. The '89 was burning a quart of 20w-50, in winter, every 50 miles - yep, FIFTY! The '00 Jimmy couldn't go 10 miles without throwing the check engine light on. Every time I tried to get a sticker, the light would come on during the drive there! Like clockwork! More electrical gremlins with that thing than anything I have ever seen in my life. Once carbureted, that engine suddenly became the most reliable vehicle in my fleet. We ran it 5 years before the body started to rot away to nothing. Wish I could've kept it.

Got bored so I went on GMC's site and built a 2500HD 6.0 only came out to $54,295. Cheaper than what I thought it would be. Double cab looks funny though, might just stick with a crew in a couple years when I get around to getting a new truck. Probably have to build one then since I'm such an odd ball and want to have an 8ft bed. Never seem to have any 8 footers on the lot when I go to the GMC dealer for service here.
