She was getting there. It lasts a while because the battery is about as big as the phone. Lol!

Getting a new "free" roof next week. Insurance agreed it was on it's way out, the roofing company said they can absorb the deductible, will give a free upgrade if we keep yard signs up for a while, and they don't take ANY payment until the job is done. I looked up the company and they have been registered with the OK tax comission for 23 years, about 30 min away from me. I had never heard of them until I saw a few of their signs in my neighborhood.

 

That checks all the boxes.

That's great!! I've had it up to HERE with roofing the past 9 years. I've done every roof on the property.

 

I just finished busting my ass on my little porch roof Monday. Only 210 sq.ft, and it took me 5 days of back-breaking labor. Deck all rotted - had to be torn off. Was the last roof that needed to be done here. Used white EPDM rubber. Hopefully it outlasts me ...

 

My buddy and I did the house roof in January '07, then, I did the barn roof ("Lifetime Warranty" shingles) myself, plus the flat back section (TPO) in fall of '12.

 

Would love to have someone do this for me the next time ...

Yeah I remember. My buddy was the opposite, he was from here and stationed in ca, hated that place with a passion. Florida wouldn't be so bad if the northerners left lol :-p Then again we'd probably lose 60% of the state's population.

When I lived in Phoenix and CA, my asthma just about went away. I was on no medication at all for it for the first time in my life.

 

As soon as I got back to MA 2 years later, I ended up in the hospital 5x one month. Had to go back on inhalers.

 

This is why I don't buy the pollution hype ...

But you're still there which is a no go for me. Besides aren't glass packs illegal in ca? Not to mention a ton of other things. I like being able to choose which gun I want not being forced to choose from some BS list thought up by some idiot that doesn't know the first thing about guns. Does ca have registration? I can't remember.
