Been a rough week. Glad he's not suffering anymore. Nothing worse than not being able to breathe. Slow torture. I still have to tell my wife when she gets home from work, so I've got a long road ahead.

Thanks Mike. It's been one of the toughest days of my life. Was really attached to the little guy.

 

We just ordered a headstone from http://www.4everinmyheart.com- my brother gave us a big gift certificate for this place. Going to have his picture, plus a few lines of text as well.

 

Time for me to go to bed. I've cried enough for one day.

Spent a good portion of the past 3 days out in my community helping look for a lost black lab and another dog. Thankfully after 3 days on the run the black lab female (a rescue with a history of being abused) found her way back to her home neighborhood where she happily collapsed into the arms of her human mother and father, both with tears of joy in their eyes and great relief. Even got me tearing up at that reunion. I've gotta stop hanging around on the facebook community pages..

Finally managed to stick with my running and complete a half marathon in the snow, rain, and wind this morning.

My Z is a 1SC/1SZ ("no power" or "standard option delete" car. Supposedly never more than roughly 500 were made any given year during the 4th gen(I know they are rare, but not sure how accurate that number is).

 

(My car has way too many miles for it to matter anyway)

 

 

So, anyone think stripped "modern" cars will ever be worth anything? It was actually a option to get them stripped since several power options were standard. Strange I know.....

 

Some say no way, some say they will always be sought after by someone, some say radio delete classic vettes are priced a new Vette higher for missing a common option.

 

I'm not sure what to think. I'm keeping anything I change anyway so I don't really care at this point. But, If it's worth more in the future, I wouldn't complain.

I don't think any modern cars will run in 30-40 years. Too much wiring, too much electronics.

The most rational reason these exist is they are the vehicles on dealer commercials. The "one available at this price" ads.
