Exact length of crew cab GMT900 bumper to bumper

Could someone post the exact length of a GMC Sierra GMT900 1500 crew cab bumper to bumper?

GM says 230 inches without rear bumper.

If the damn thing won't fit in my garage then I will just get a 3/4 ton or see what length the 2014's are.

Thanks!

my garage is 20' and mine WILL fit.... barely. my bumper is inches from the front wall and I have an extended (longer) draw hitch that stays on. door barely clears it, but it does fit. in fact, my avatar pic is of my truck how it parks in the garage.

My garage is 20 ft, and the truck "fits". I have a piece of tape on the floor to line up to when I park (next to driver door & lined up w/ the step bar markings). I'd say that I have about 10" split front/rear, w/ ~2" of that at the rear (more clearance @ the front). It's tight, but I do it every day. My kids still look at the back of the truck and tell me "it won't close this time". I just push the button on the opener and walk inside, while they watch it just barely squeeze by :)

My garage is 20' and my 09 Ex Cab Std Bed just barely fits (same length as CCSB). The headlights make a line on the wall that moves down as I pull in. As soon as the line meets the edge of the hood I stop. (I have to keep my truck clean or else that line doesn't show up) That leaves about 3 inches in front and just enough room for the door to close with a standard hitch installed. It also puts the driver door just past a stud in the wall which is the only way I can get the door open far enough to get out.

Oh yeah...DL3 mirrors MUST be folded in or I'm too far over for my wife to get out of her car.

My garage is 21' 6" deep; mine fits with ~3" clearance at front bumper/garage door and ~16" at rear bumper/wall. I back in to a tennis ball stop.

When I was stationed in Wisconsin I had a Suburban and a 1995 Camaro. The 2 car garage was a tight fit! I have not ever parked my current truck in a garage. I just gotta get a bigger garage!

Thanks for the replys. Has anyone busted out a tape measure? I guess I could take one to the dealer 75 miles away or ask to take it on a loooong test drove to see if it fits in my 230" garage. Maybe if I cut out some drywall....

"Maybe if I cut out some drywall...."

Wow....I've been down that path.

Crew cab 3/4 ton with a slide in pop up camper: Replace two single 7' tall garage doors with one double 8' tall door, move entire front of wall and garage door out 5", cut interior wall out for a "window" for the front bumper and grill to fit into....picked up another 3". Cost?

Thousands of dollars.....but not month later a huge hail storm struck.

I felt like a genius.

Yes, the measurement I made was with a tape measure (228").

Damn, sounds like you were Serious about getting the truck covered! Believe me I seriously thought about moving an interior wall forward to fit a 3/4 ton but one wall has all my plumbing in it and the other has stairs for interior of house. I have 2 double garage doors like you but to put a single I'm I would have to replace the header and to eliminate the center post, now that's some $$$.
