I currently have the 4" Tuff Country suspension lift and was wondering if I got the bilstein 5100 adjustable shocks. Can I adjust them to 1" and keep the 2" spacer on top and add a inch bigger block in back for a 5" lift?

Got pics of your lift? How do you like it?

Yall have any ideas on what's a fair price for my wheels and tires? They have 6k miles on them. I've been pricing out some 22x12s with 35s and I have these and some kmc slides I could sell to put towards the 22" fuel nutz

Are those 22x12? And what's your offset on those wheels?

Those are 22x11 and if you call Rez @ (918) 835-6060. He ordered the proper offset for me etc. If you tell him the fuel hostage 22x11's he put on the black double cab silverado he will know for sure which truck.

Running RC 2.5" front andf the 3" Rear. No Rack at all with "2.5" Block, need a 3"

Has anybody actually put 3" blocks in the rear? I called Rough Country yesterday because I wanted to add their 2.5" suspension lift but I want to maintain the rake, thus I wanted to put the rear up a bit higher. Their kit has a 2" lift block and I asked if I could put a 3" one in and the guy said I couldn't unless I swapped out shocks. I could have swore I read somewhere this forum that someone said they called Rough Country as well but was told you could put in 3" blocks. I'm totally confused. I might call around other places that sell lift kits/blocks and find out. But if anyone has actually done this I would love to hear from you.

Thanks!

Ive put in a 2.5 front level and 3" rear blocks. Ive got 1 inch of rake right now. Didn't have to change out my shocks or change anything at all, i love how it sits now it has a little rake and sits 41" in the back and 40" in the front to the fender w/ 275/60R20 duratracs

As stated the same setup even with Tires. I also jacked my Truck up to verify travel on the shocks and it appears with normal driving shock travel is not a concern.

Can you guys tell me where you got your 3" block at? Also, I know you guys didn't add anything else but I was looking around on Ready Lift's website and they recommended rear shock extensions if you're going to be using a 3" block. Do you guys think that's a good idea or are they full of it?

Thanks,

You don't "have" to if you don't plan on doing any offroading, would be fine for street use. You just won't get full droop with the factory shocks without extending them, and if you do offroad it you will probably crap out the shocks pretty quick. On my 13 i just went ahead and bought a set of bilsteen 5100's when I did the rear lift. A 3" block is only 1 3/4" taller than factory so the 5100's work perfect and are a good upgrade from factory anyhow. Edited by CAtaylor

does anyone in here know why my all terrain bounces so bad over dips and bumps?

several times when driving over a rough road with dips and whatnot i literally get launched off my seat. i cannot figure out if the shocks on my AT have too little or too much damping that causes this.

it feels like the compression and rebound could use some adjustment.

I've thought about coil overs with an adjustable valving so i can set them myself.

another complaint is when you hit pot holes the entire truck just shutters. i don't know if this is caused from too stiff or not stiff enough spring rates or if its just the fact they use rubber grommets on the suspension connection points and things have a lot of give to them.

anyone looked into how to fix these issues?

I see that a lot of people have removed the air dam on their truck. I like mine on but I've managed to ding it up a bit going off road so I was just wondering if anyone is around the Houston area that has removed theirs and wants to sell it to me. I'm willing to go out as far as the Austin/San Antonio area or even up to Dallas/Fort Worth area. Maybe even Louisiana but I don't have family or camp out there so I don't want to hold my breath for that one. Message me if you do!

Thanks!

you know these are about 65-70 bucks for a new one from the dealer, maybe less if you buy it online from a gm parts supplier.

Haha I figured they'd be around that much. I did a preliminary search online to see if anyone carries it but I can't seem to find it. I just figured that if someone has removed theirs and aren't using it then I could buy it from them and it'd be a win-win for both of us. If I don't get any responses I'll eventually go to the dealership and just buy it there.
