Just about to install the airaid modular intake tube I ordered for my 2019 Silverado 1500 LD 4x4. This truck seriously impresses me with its power/torque and gas mileage. Next will be an AEM dryflow drop in filter and a catch can or possibly tap into the brake vacuum pump to pull a vacuum on the crank case to see if I can’t get a bit more out of her on the stock tune.

Let me start off by saying some of you put way too much time into these calculations, but to each their own I guess. I get roughly 14mpg on 93 with mostly city driving and around 10 with e85. Long trips with 93 I'll get up around 17 with e85 usually around 15. Bilstein level, factory 22s with 305/45/22 Ridge Grapplers, Lew tune and generally drive in tow/haul, because it shifts better.

Nice...I have 88K and lifetime 19.3?  I am fine with that!

I have 106K and a lifetime 27.6 mpg (hand calculated).

Off topic, but why are you driving in tow/haul mode if the trucks tuned? Shouldnt the shift points be better?

They are better, but still shift a little too early.

I wish you guys would add your mph along with your mpg’s. I’ve got a 2018, tuned 6.2, 4.5-5” lifted on 33” KO2’s with a 323 rear end. I’m getting approximately 19-21 on highway @ 65-70 mph.

Your wish is my command.

55 mph. 27.6 mpg life time hand calculated. 4.3 2WD RCSB. Lowered a little. Factory Bridgestone Dueler H/T.

On Texas highways, I’d get rear ended, pulled over or flipped off if I drove 55mph but much better fuel economy for sure.

Best does not count.  It is the average that counts.  And if it is like mine, I have lost about 5-6 MPG the last 2 years with this direct injection engine.  The more miles you put on, the carbon build up you will have and the worst milage you will get.

I just finished installing the same airaid tube this weekend,  at first it was alright.... then i went back and popped the airbox out and removed the air intake restrictor panel, it pops out so easily,  now it really sounds impressive. my MPG probably dropped  by 2 points, but it was fun and feels much quicker now. I'm also using the OEM airfilter.
