So i put my RC 2" level kit and Toyo 295/55/20's on this weekend. Install was simple, just like on my 2011. It definitely helps to have an extra set of hands when wedging that spacer in there. 295/

Mine is finally done! After months of research I went with the RC 2.5" level kit front only, stock rear block. 20"x9" Fuel Nutz w/ +1 offset, 33x12.50x20 Toyo M/T tires. No rubbing, No trimming, yet a

I don't mean to ask stupid questions... But is the billstein setup better than doing an RC kit? Ride was and cost wise? This is my first truck and I'm trying to not screw it up lol. Your truck has the setup I'm looking for!!

The issue is it cost more and they are on back order. So you have to factor that in to what you think is better. Guys with bilatein will have to comment more though

 

I have the Bilstein 5100's on my pickup and I haven't noticed much of a difference in the ride quality. The reason that I went with Bilstein over a spacer or extension kit is that I didn't want to be overextending the shocks. If you aren't going to be taking your pickup hunting, offroad, etc. then a spacer or extension kit will work just fine bc they are a little cheaper.

I had mine done at the dealer. I am not sure what kit they used but will find out. I'm sure it's just the front 2 or 2.5 inch. Here's a question I know has been asked,and answered more than once but I can't seem to find it---what size tires can I run now. I really plan on putting at least a 3" (probably go 6") eventually but am couriuos for now what tires I can run with just the leveling kit? I would like some aggression and the largest without rub. I am looking to Level with Fox Coilovers and go with KO2's on factory AT wheels. How much level did you get out of the coilovers? would you be able to go with a 275/65R20 tire rather than 275/60's?

I got exactly 2 inches of lift from them. I was 36.5 up front, and 39.5 in the rear. Now I'm 39.5 front, and 40.5 rear. The extra inch is the bigger tire.

 

I'm not entirely certain if 275/65/20 would work. I didn't stick with the stock wheels and I'm pretty close to rubbing with the 275/60/20 since my new wheels are +1 offset. I'll try and take some pictures tomorrow afternoon to show just how close it is. Hopefully that'll help you.

Yes it will work fine. I ran 285 65 18 terra grapplers on my 2014 and now I run 275 70 18 BFG ATs on my 2015. The 285 is a little wider but is only about 32.5 inches tall while the 275 is 33.2 inches tall. Both fit fine under a 2.25 pro comp level with no rubbing or trimming. I personally like the look at the 275 better and I saw minimal mpg drop but, that's mostly due to the BFG being lighter than the nitto.

2" front only Rough Country level installed. Stock Z71 wheels and tires. Took me a little over 2 hours with limited knowledge and tools.

Totally will work. I looked into it as well, but the 285's are more $$$..

Any pics down the side? Would love to see how much the tires do or don't stick out with that offset. Deciding between a 0 offset or +18 offset rim

      Transmission Woes :-(

      Hello All!   My 2019 Colorado 3.6 LT, 4WD Crew Cab has approximately 77,500 miles and I recently began experiencing the well-known transmission shudder between about 30 and 65 mph. The problem had worsened to the point that I could no longer attribute it to road conditions - and I had decided to bring the truck to the dealer - when recently, I experienced a sudden loss of power while driving at maybe 40 MPH. Several warning lights flashed, the “Check Stabilitrack” message appeared, and the Check Engine, Stabilitrack, and Traction Control icons remained illuminated. The truck regained driving power, but it stayed in a low gear with unusually high RPMs for the speed. (limp mode?) Because I was only about two miles from home, driving slowly, I was able to make it back and run an OBD-II scan, which showed fault codes U0101, P0700, and U0100. My next trip in the truck was to drive it to the dealer the following day. That trip began normally, but after about a mile I experienced another loss of power, along with the same warning lights and the same “Check Stabilitrack” message. As before the truck remained driveable, but again operated at an abnormally high RPM-to-speed ratio and seemed stuck in a single gear. About a mile later, the dashboard lit up once more, this time displaying “Check 4WD.” Soon after that, I arrived at the dealer. I have verified that the truck still has its original factory transmission fluid, which means it has never received the corrective fluid exchange outlined in GM Technical Service Bulletin #18-NA-355.  That was Thursday of last week and I've heard nothing yet from the dealer.    According to Technical Service Bulletin #18-NA-355 and the build date of my truck, my truck should have the newer LV fluid. I've done a little research and read something about a problem with the wiring harness as well.   Anyone have an insights into this situation?  Thank you!!

      Did you even read this article?   Even the title of the article says "U.S.-Iran Deal Doesn’t Mean a Swift Return of Oil and Gas Flows"   Remember, crude oil prices are based on FUTURE purchases by the oil companies.  Gas prices are based on FUTURE purchases by the station.  This article stated that many of the oil producing nations have to restart their processes to get the oil produced.  Then the oil has to be shipped to wherever.  And it doesn't get there overnight.  And most of that oil is not coming here. Check out this site:  https://afdc.energy.gov/data/10621   A graph will pop up to show where the US imports their oil from.  Notice that there isn't a lot of import from OPEC and Iraq.  Most of the US import comes from Canada. The US oil produces are selling their oil on the open market, which is why the US fuel costs went up.  So you're correct, the US oil companies are going to slow walk the price downward.
