When will the 6.2 1500 Silverado/Sierra be available?

I just ordered my 6.2L Denali this morning from the dealer. Unfortunately he did not have the pricing info on the order web site. I ordered it loaded out except 4wd, sun roof & rear seat entertainment system. I also added the 22" chrome wheel option (SEY) option. I would still like to be able to build it myself. The pricing must be the hold up on their web site. Yes, I did order it, yes, I do have an order number, no, I don't know exactly how much it will cost, but I am sure happy to finally have it ordered!

Good choice on the wheels. That's the same wheels I have on my truck...

Hello again everyone,

I have an update on when you can start Build Your Own Vehicle for the 6.2L Denali on www.gmc.com. You can start Build Your Own Vehicle

for the 6.2L Denali in mid-October.

Best regards,

Thanks man, and thanks for sharing the pics. There's a big difference seeing them on a truck. Now I know I like them and made a good decision. Thanks again.

my dealer tells me he can order the 6.2L now in an SLT A/T like I want. $1995 option, I don't know if that is over the 4.3 or the 5.3 but my guess is its $1995 more than the 5.3L

Well the way the sticker reads. The 4.3 is the standard motor for all trucks. The upgraded engine is in the options side of the sticker. My SLE has the 5.3 listed in the options side as $1095. I'd say the $1995 is over the 4.3.

On the previous platform it was $2000more for the 6.2 over the 5.3, I would venture to say it is the same on the new one as well.

How much did those wheels run you for the 22" version, I really like them though I dont think they would that great on an AT Sierra. I really like the new 20" AT wheels.

That package on the 2013 model was a trailer tow package, you got the trailer hitch, axle upgrade, and a 6.2L for alittle less than 2000.On the 2014 model they separated the two now.If you just select the 6.2L it will default to a 3:42 axle selection, and you keep the 20" rims. When you order the MaxTrailer you get sound noise reduction, upgraged axle,6.2L,3:73 axle option. Also when you select the MaxTrailer option you lose the 20" rims and it defaults to 18" rim.Pickuptruck just test drove it over on there website with the 6.2L and they tend to think it is class leading in 1/2 ton towables.

I believe the 22's were lie a $2900 option on the sticker but cost was like $2300. IMO the all terrains with everything painted and the painted 20's make certain colors look dull. Don't get me wrong they are all beautiful trucks but I know others who have said the same thing. I think the chrome wheels would break things up a little especially on the White Diamond and Quicksilver Metallic trucks (those are the two colors that I noticed seem to look dull in all terrain trim).

With the money you saved on the wheels you can get yourself a better camera!

It's a cell phone camera smart ass. I didn't know I was entering a photo competition...
