Luster Posted July 21, 2014 Posted July 21, 2014 I did my six cutouts in the Line X today... Retractable Bull Rings should arrive tomorrow. Just follow the instructions in CoasterCOG's video... took about 15 minutes to do all 6. (That Line X is some tough stuff!)
thzpcs Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 Dualliner makes some of my favorite stuff. Seems to solve a lot of issues most drop in liners have, such as covering the bed hooks and such.
arkenzo Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 anyone from Southern California have any recommendations for a shop that does line-x? Would appreciate it. Thanks!
05cyclone Posted September 2, 2014 Posted September 2, 2014 I have Ameraguard spray in liner on mine.
J-Jeezy Posted September 2, 2014 Posted September 2, 2014 how is that? the ameriguard? we have a dealer/installer here in san antonio that wants to do mine with the uv protection for 400 which is a steal!!!! just dont know how well itll hold up, the demo that was shown to me was on a bumper guard for a for explorer. i liked the almost paint like shine to it. have any picture of it by any chance?
BaltimoreCaesar Posted September 2, 2014 Posted September 2, 2014 Any reason to avoid the OEM drop-in bed liner?
Luster Posted September 2, 2014 Posted September 2, 2014 Any reason to avoid the OEM drop-in bed liner? I wouldn't say there's a reason to avoid it, I'm sure it's a good product. Some people just don't like drop-ins because of the potential of scratching/rust in the bed. Spray-ons don't have that issue, and they are just about indestructible. There are many, of course, who wouldn't have anything but a drop-in.

Did you have to trim the liner more to make them fit?

They are the same one that did mine. I dont know how much it was as I paid a penny for it. I haggled the dealer to throw it in to make the sale on the truck. So far it has been great and that shop did a really good job on taping everything off and it looks great. I will go take some pics in a bit and post them up.
05cyclone Posted September 2, 2014 Posted September 2, 2014 Don't mind the dirt the whole truck needs to be washed.
Luster Posted September 2, 2014 Posted September 2, 2014 Do you have pictures with the Retractable Bull Rings? Did you have to trim the liner more to make them fit? The only trimming I had to do is what you see in the first picture... the Bullrings overlap the cut portion of the liner by about 1/8". The installation took about 1 minute per Bullring.

Luster Posted September 2, 2014 Posted September 2, 2014 Thanks, Those look good. I will have to get me some. I got mine on ebay. Six for $60 and free shipping. I think it might have been a mistake on the sellers part because the next day the same parts were 70 with $9.00 shipping!
