ok so my buddy has a gmc jimmy and he bought it a few months ago. he does not like the truck because of the way it rides..... the guy who owned it before him had clearly done a few changes to the vehicle and was wondering if anyone would know a way to help fix his problem.

the jimmy is lifted 5" up and the front torsion bars were swapped out for the 1/2 ton suspension.,

the socks are not gas shocks that push back when push but are more like dampeners.. they just slow the rate of the swaying. the only big problem my friend says that makes him dislike the vehicle is that the suspension rides to soft and he would actually want it to be more stiff. the rear end is not really much of a problem but the springs no longer go under the rear axle but above it now and the torsions if cranked or lowered make too much of a difference....

is there any way to fix the soft suspension?, because this is his daily driver.

So you've tried upping the torsion bars a bit already? What tires are under it? Can u put up pics of the suspension?
