Just put 400 k on my 2000 Silverado. She is showing her age but still have the original motor and trans.  Love my step side. Kudos to the folks that put her together in Fort Wayne, IN

Just curious if anyone else on this forum has passed the 300k miles (or km equivalent) mark or if I'm here all by my lonesome. Gm or otherwise let's see your high mileage vehicle. Info such as vehicle specs, current mileage, and if major repairs were needed how many miles did you have when it was done? Pics are nice too!

(Sorry if this in the wrong section didn't know where to put it)

Ill start it off

2000 Sierra 1500 SLE 4.8/4L60E 3.73 gears

Current mileage: 316,902 miles

Needed a transmission at 278k miles and just replaced the stock tie rods, ball joints, idler arm, and 1 cv axle. Motor is still stock. Other than that the AC and interior need some work.

legally mine has 840,057 miles  or 1,351,848 KM listed on the title

:omg:    still trying to get it fixed to the 'Actual miles'  I don't think my insurance would be happy if I drove 840,000 miles in a year

I suggest once you get to 500k Refurbish the whole truck  i.e paint and and/or body panels..

I have a 1995 z 71 i bought new. It now has 406000 miles and runs perfect. Just regular maintenance using mobil 1 oil. it burns no oil between changes. The transmission has been built twice but my brother owns a trans shop so that is not a problem for me. Even the AC stills blows cold.
