And now...... back to the OEM wheels (with low profile tires of course). The big wheels rode like crap to me so I went back with the stockers and small enough rubber so I don't have any more clearance issues. I'll do something to the wheels soo enough to make them a little different but for now I'm just enjoying the plush ride.

I would keep the stockers. Look much better IMO.

Found some old sunshades in the garage. Bought these a while back as a joke, decided I'll use them until I get some tint.

I don't think they look too bad haha.

im just wondering what is the point in lowering a truck? i mean you cant haul anything now, it pretty much useless for what it is intended for now... unless it runs a 10 second quarter mile i don't understand the point in it?

How do you figure it can't haul anything? I've haul stuff with lowered trucks in the past, and in some cases they performed better then the stock counterpart. I use to haul my Drag truck to the track with a lowered 97 sierra, it did great. As I see it lowering a truck can make it easy to get things in and out of the bed too, depending on what you need to get in the bed, such as a motorcycle (less of an angle to go up). Lowering a truck doesn't necessarily alter it's capacity, in most cases it just alters it's ride height…
