Used and abused last weekend. Best time I have ever had wheeling.

Got a new 2017 Sierra 1500 this past week. Wanted to share what it looks like with this forum since I read a ton of things on here before buying. Thank you all for the good information.

It's got the 6.2L with trailering package, and just about everything else I could add. No chrome wheels though, much preferred the look without them.

Other than stock, I had the dealer install the driver-side entry assist handle. Then aftermarket - I took off the stock running boards and added Amp Research Powersteps. I also removed the front air dam. Lastly I added the Bak Revolver X2 cover.

I was going to move the antenna under the hood as I've seen discussed here, but coming from a shorter vehicle in to my first parking garage was a bit terrifying. I'll leave it on there as a height gauge for the time being.

I've loved driving it the first few days. It's exactly what I was looking for.

Wow great looking truck! I have the same year and color. Only thing is I haven't found the right wheels for the tungsten color. I must say those methods contrast great with your truck. Do you mind sharing more pics of your truck all washed up and clean? Thanks

Thanks! I really love the tune Lew made. Its shifts better, more responsive, all around better performance. From observations at this point I'm getting a couple more miles to the gallon too. I really love this truck.

What's your mpg?

That looks great, I love the grill. Are those inserts?

I love it. When I step on the throttle its like music to my ears, its loud enough so that I get that wonderful engine tone but not so loud that my wife will still ride in it (plus I don't step on it when she rides with me but even then its certainly noticeable during acceleration but she tolerates it). If your looking for "not too loud" as I was, I would wager this would fit the bill. It really sounds great!

Around town its right around 14, I haven't done enough highway driving to give a good average.

I HIGHLY recommend the S-type. That's what I have on my 5.3. The S-type has a unique tone to it, very different from the flowmaster or magnaflow. The S-Type believe it or not is not very loud, but just the right amount. The cabin noise is very minimal and very comfortable. Trust me when I say you won't regret the S-Type
