6.2L LTZ. I'll be adding an A.R.E. Z series cap and trying to figure out steps. I will probably go with 6" oval GM steps. I have the 3.42 rear end and will tow a <5,000 trailer. I am really loving this truck. Lots of things I like over my 2010 LT I sold. The double cab seems smaller than the extended cab though. Also, I wish GM would have put the spot mirror on the bottom.

Hey guys new member. We picked up a 2014 Z71 after my 02 Sierra lost all brakes about a month ago. Only reason for not an LTZ was the chrome grill. Hate chrome! We're waiting on Chevy to give us our 22s in Black. I just debadged the truck last night, installed some Go Rhino bars, an extang express bed cover (had one on my 02) and a rubber bed mat. I'd like to find one of those carpeted bed liners for the truck if anyone knows where to get one let me know! Also looking for a black badgeless grill. I hate the bowtie (I'm a VW guy but will always have Chevy trucks til we get the Amarok stateside).

 

Also the Silverado badges have to be the crappiest stuff I have ever seen! And has anyone else notice surface rust on the frame already? I'm OCD lol

 

 

I'll post some more pics after I detail it this weekend. (This pics from last week you can see my grandfather's 2012 Silverado as well.)

Here are a few shots of mine. I bought it back on September 13th, 2013, took delivery on September 14th. It is a 5.3L Z71 SLE with 3.42's, SLE Value Package, SLE Convenience Package, Off Road Suspension Package, AT W.O.L. Tires, Trailer Brake Controller.

 

Only mods so far are Rustproofing, Undercoating/Sound Deadener, Paint Sealant. Husky floor liners wall to wall, with the Husky under seat storage organizer ordered a couple days ago. Should be here by Monday. I just swapped out the grille last week with a All Terrain grille and painted surround. I added the Z71 grill badge to see if I like it, and it can be removed easily if I don't. Still debating whether to put the chrome surround on it or take it in and get the paint sealant applied to the surround. The surround does not match perfectly, but the rest of the paint is sealed, and I think it will be fine once sealed, Maybe some comments from you guys in my Gallery photos would help me decide?

 

I just went through all of the pictures in this thread over the last couple days, and all the trucks look great. Mine is a daily driver for work and play (hunting). Has been a long winter here and now I can get some of the things done that I want. I will be calling Monday to set up a day to get a Line-X premium liner sprayed in the box. Something I have been waiting for warmer weather to do. Still debating on topping off the bed with some type of cover?
