Those of you that plastidipped it, you left it on the truck and sprayed it? Did you sand it before spraying?

All i did to mine was clean the road grime off and let it dry. If these post here are the results. i have the whole process in pics on my profile. I think it looks great compared to the gold.

I tried vinyl I've tried plasti... The vinyl tore off when I went threw a car wash ... The plasti dip shot out of the can all bumpy and nasty... I couldn't get either to work good

Plasti dip sprays out nasty, you got to let it dry. I thought the same thing but it flows out nice. Remember nice even light coats let it dry between them. I waited 30 min.

Mine turned out great, it does come out spotty and nasty but after each coat dries the finished product looks good. I put 2 coats of glossifier on as well.

Let the cans sit in @125F tap water for 30 mins or so and make sure you have a feral monkey shake the cans well to mix it up. Let them sit for5-10 more mins to warm up again and shake well.

Spray 8-12 even light coats and if you don't like it you can peal it off in a sheet

Comes out way smoother.

Discovered plastidip when I got tired of the red on my Honda Pioneer.

Just paint it yourself! Don't pay $100+ for what you can do. Tape it, dupli-color it (unless you have brownstone metallic), plasti-dip glossifier over the top! Spend $15-$25 and get the same results! Or just spend $7 and black plasti-dip it.

It's $35-45 for front or back. It will be $70-100 for a full set. Tape it and paint it, and it will look as good as J-Jeezy's.
