Has anyone bought and installed a black bow tie yet? I bought a black one for my truck. The removal instructions have you drilling out the gold stock one. I'm curious if anyone has done this yet. How's it look? Does the two way tape seem to hold tight? Any advice is appreciated, I'm a little leery on drilling into a brand new 50k truck!

I've never bought one because both of the emblems I painted were with plasti-dip. They match pretty well too.

The plastidip looks good, can you get it in a gloss finish? I already have the aftermarket one, it powdercoated. I was just courious on how good the mount was.

No glossifier on my rims and they are pretty glossy. Use Adams SVRT or Chemicals Guys G6 Hyper something or another

Even though I have a aftermarket bowtie I bought a can of the plasti dip tonight, glossifer too. I'm going to try it out this weekend, just can't see myself drilling out my grill right now to put the other one on.

Do you like the rims done with plasti dip? How does it hold up to road salt?

Another question, a little off subject. I have a RZR how do you think the plasti dip would hold up on it?

I cant say long term how it holds up personally. My car will never see snow let alone road salt, it is going under a cover here in the next month probably.

So on the white diamond, where did you get the Plastidip paint and what was the paint called.

Looks good,

Mike
