Whine when engine is cold

Sound only shows up when its like below 25-30 degrees out and when I first start the truck after its been sitting a few hours. I feel like if I go to the dealer ship and it doesnt make the sound but I show them my video, they'll think I'm crazy haha

My 2014 6.2 whines and sounds identical to bladz in the video minus the squeak. The dealer said it was fine so I'm gonna roll with it. I've been waiting to see if anyone else heard this in their trucks. Hopefully it will be ok. The 2011 I traded in was quiet so I was surprised when I heard all that racket under my new truck with 100 miles on it! Other than that, the 14 is awesome and I am really enjoying it. I'm loving the interior. I'm tall and I don't feel like my head is up against the roof like I did in my 2011. The seats are much more comfortable and the console makes it feel like a recliner with armrests at the perfect height. Hopefully the clunker like noise will eventually stop or a fix for it will be discovered. It is annoying after shelling out 50k.

Yea, mine is still sounding like an idle weed whacker when its under 25 degrees out but its the squeak that concerns me the most. I will show my video to the dealer this week when I go in and see what they say.

I have this issue with my new 2014. Neither my local GMC or Chev service new what it was. The also refused to isolate root cause. Two new trucks checked were silent. My truck and the service manager's truck howl. New truck price with a 200k mile ford sound. Trying to decide if i am selling this truck. Chevy service is not very good. They work harder getting out of anjob than solving one.

Oh I know - the engine whine, pulley squeals, driver's seat creak, head liner rattle, and rear suspension creak. Kind of funny how my truck has been perfect when its warm out and the cold temperatures can cause so many problems.

Ohhhhhh man, woke up to sub freezing temps this morning and the sounds are coming back. My truck went from full blown metal on metal weed whacker to tiny birds chirping under the hood this season

Can't wait to take some more videos for the dealer so that they can say they 'can't replicate' haha

Water pump guys, mine was just replaced at 24k miles on my 2014. Same thing, a whine, sometimes sounded like a bearing going out but could be heard coming from the front of the engine.
