That's bigger than an oem size tire Edited February 3, 2018 by Nasty
promqwn_15 Posted February 7, 2018 Posted February 7, 2018 I'm currently at 4/9 running a 295/35/24 on my 2015 dbl cab Silverado. Using djm drop arms in the front and a flip kit, 2" shackles, and under bed notch in the rear. To go from 7" to 9" the bed had to be tubbed. The front I simply made a few relief cuts with a metabo and used a rubber hammer to round out the upper inner fender.
promqwn_15 Posted February 7, 2018 Posted February 7, 2018 Has anyone went over 9" static drop in the rear on a dbl cab ??? Having issues with crossmembers and really wanting to go to 11" .....

lovelessjl Posted February 8, 2018 Posted February 8, 2018 So mcgaughys new kit for the 4x4 trucks comes with 4" drop springs instead of the flip kit. I'm sure these springs probably ride great. My question is would those springs or a flip kit on the stock springs be better for performance? My plan is to add turbos and make a little rocket truck out of it. lovelessjl Posted February 8, 2018 Posted February 8, 2018 Also, I plan on dropping the truck 3/5-6 depending on how it sits. I'm kind of leaning towards the flip kit since it retains the oem spring pack. Which in my understanding should be stronger, since there's a bit more arch along with the extra overload leaf. But I think the traditional attachment seems stronger. Maybe I'm just way over thinking this. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
