Now, those figures are total. So 3000 each. The high/low combo beams are 2k on low, 3k on high. Single beam bulbs are 3000

So tonka do you sell these LED head and fog lights or just do the installation?? I would love to drive over but it would take a couple of days :) Is 6k the only color choice and if so how do they match up with LED DRL on the SLT models?

Good deal, that's the best price i've found on them yet.

Question 4500k HIDs with 5000k LED dually 2s is there that much of a noticeable difference in 4500k and 5000k white light?

4500 is closer to nuetral white and 5000 is a cool white but I personally don't think you will see a huge difference....However! I do not have these so take caution if you are a light freak and want them to be exactly the same!!

I could probably exchange my bulbs for 5000k bulbs but that would require me again shipping it off to retrofit. Idk I can't see them being that different but then again the only aftermarket HID I've seen is my cousins ddm 4500Ks which are just bright white to my eyes.

If anyone can comment let me know please. Might just exchange them. Everything is unopened.

Looking at the morimoto bulbs from the kit I ordered they only offer the 9012 in 4500k or 5500k. Guess I'll try it out. If I don't like it mount the LEDs elsewhere or on the bronco I plan to restore.

For those of you who went with rigid industries did you go with the flush mount or can you get the regular D2 and the mount they provide for the fog lights and just use that?

So after doing a little reading the dually D2 harness will have to be spliced with the OEM harness to get them to work? Or can i order another harness to just circumvent that and use it between the two?

you can get these, cut off the HID end and replace it with the rigid ind connector, and then plug into the pod and truck harness. No need for a harness to connect directly to battery as LED pods don't pull enough power to require it, the truck harness already supplies more than enough power

While those worked for my HIDS, quality is COMPLETE SHIT. When I took them out, one of the leads got stuck in my factory harness on BOTH sides.

So after reading all of these I'm still left with my original thought. I'm less concerned with looking cool, and much more interested in FUNCTION in bad weather. In the winter I drive from Colorado to Idaho to visit my dad and besides winter weather here, many of you know I-80 across Wyoming can have total whiteout blowing snow at night, and Idaho has treacherous freezing fog, so I'm looking for a fog light that can really cut into the muck. Is this new Rigid fog light the best answer?

Also (Not to start another debate) but I've read a couple of articles lately that said amber isn't necessarily a better color than white for cutting through fog. Agree? Disagree?

Well this topic seems to have kinda fizzled out on me, but I made a recent discovery of a supposedly new product. (Probably already mentioned in this forum but I missed it)

Made by Putco, 2400 lumens, and a direct , plug & play fit into the '14-'15 Sierra.

$174 on amazon.

The Putco # is 12002

Is anyone here familiar with it?

Does any body have any pictures of the vled 850 lumen? (http://www.vleds.com/bulb-type/fog-lights/5202/10-led-drl-fog-light-bulbs-5202-1-pair.html)

Ive seen a couple people that have them but no pictures of light output or how they look? Also would these get to hot for the housing or is that only when jump up really high in wattage/lumens?

If any would could help I would appreciate it!
