I've seen the Black Bear dyno runs on all of them, but am interested in the S&B setup for my 6.2.

Has anyone run dyno tests on the S&B CAI on the 6.2L?  I love being able to see the filter and really like the way it looks under the hood, but - looks aren't everything.

I'm leaning AFE Momentum w/ a dry filter...simply from the Black Bear dyno runs, but would love to save $100 and run the S&B.

This is basically what I did. I got the AFE that Black Bear tested a couple months back for my 2018 6.2L and really liked it. No dyno proof that it increased anything along side the Borla exhaust other than the seat one ?, but it did seem to also be better on throttle response and added a throaty sound under medium and hard acceleration that I loved.

I traded in my 2018 for a 2019 6.2L GMC Sierra SLT and sadly it doesn't fit. GM changed it up under the hood. I'm trying to offload it if anyone is interested.

Just installed this kit this evening. Just took it for a quick spin so I have no feedback other than cool noises!!

Would there be a for seen issue with using my AIRAID Modular Intake Tube from my 2011 onto my 2015 as long as it bolts up?

It's just duct work. 99.9999999999% sure it's not going to do anything.

I saw this GM 'high flow' drop-in replacement filter element today. Expensive.

For the 2018? No, I put it back on the truck before trading it in.

Made this tube for my 2019 5.3 Silverado 1500 LD. I used some leftover 3.5” tubing from side work I’ve done. I still need hose couplers, clamps, and fittings for the crank case vents from the valve covers. f7db91bd7503f2d85e438d0ff1872768.plist

Here’s the installed pic. I think for best results I will wrap the tube in foam insulating tape so the aluminum won’t heat soak as badly. I also need to cut the plastic hose of the factory vent fittings and slip the new rubber hose on them for a cleaner look and to make it easy to remove the hoses from the valve covers.

Couldn’t pass up the $50 off they had a few weeks back. Got it with the dry filter. Throttle is a bit more responsive. Paired with the Gibson cat back, the truck is fun to drive.

That’s damn impressive but I think 55mph pisses everybody else on the highway... lol. 55mph seems to be the sweet spot though.

I took the photo as I was braking to get off exit. I was cruising about 65 to 68 Mph. That was with 3 other people in car too. So it is pretty good if you ask me. Flat highway no hills cruise control.
