Is anybody using a toolbox under their tonneau cover? I was thinking about something similar to this: http://www.lowes.com/pd_445705-47999-TB-30_1z0wcmy__?productId=50114543&pl=1

The only problem with that is securing it.

You have about 21" of clearance under the tonneau cover. Home Depot has the best option for a mobile job box that is water tight and can be padlocked however it is too tall (23"). http://thd.co/1nnJUvh

The next best option is this thing. You can tuck 2 side by side between the wheel wells under a locking tonneau.

Hello, I'm new here. :) I have a 2015 Silverado short bed, and I'm looking for a tonneau cover, the idea is to stay with a Chevrolet one, I saw on the Chevrolet website that they have a hard folding and a soft folding, but from the picture there is difficult to understand the difference, actually it seems the same photo on both. I wonder if you guys that have one of this two cover can post a picture so it make more clear. Thanks!

Got my bak roll-x in this week, it's a great looking cover but it needs a better seal at the bulkhead there is a good bit of space there. I was going to get the vp but I liked the idea of rolling it up instead.

I have a GMC Brand Tonneau, part number 23462051. The issue I'm having is the clamp is broken. Does anyone have any ideas on where I can get a replacement clamp?

Thanks for your help,

Peter

The covers are made by third parties.

If you show a picture of the clamp maybe someone will recognize the piece and suggest a manufacturer that uses same part. Then you should be able order a spare from them.

Hey Money,

I notice some puckering of the side seals on your cover. I suspect you took the pictures right after you installed the coved and that it probably came rolled up. Now that they've had a couple days in the sun to relax, have the puckers gone away? The reason I ask is because I'm thinking hard about getting the Revolver X2. I really like the concept.

Are you happy with your cover so far? Was it easy to install?

By the way, looks good.

Thanks.

Yeah it was taken right after I installed it, it was easy to install I did it myself in about an hour and that included taking my tool box off by myself. The seals haven't settled yet but my truck sits in the carport all week I only drive it on the weekends so it may take awhile to settle. The instructions said you can speed the process with a heat gun though.

FYI

Realtruck and BAK industries have this cover for $699.00 while supplies last. I guess they're closing them out now that the Revolver X2 is out.

I went with this box from Northern Tool. Even with some 1" redwood bolted to the bottom to keep the box off of the bed it still fits under the tonneau cover.

I bought an Extang Black Max tonneau for my truck. $259 I think from Amazon. Sure it doesn't have any features, but I'm using it for keeping stuff out of the bed and don't need it to come on and off fast.

It's got a 10 year warranty on the vinyl and lifetime on the aluminum parts. Installs in about 30 minutes. The snaps on the cover are metal but the snaps that are on the rails are plastic now, my old Extangs were metal/metal.

Please excuse the ice on the cover, it was 20 this morning when I left the house.

And this is how it attaches under the rails.
