Those of y'all with the PNP AMP steps......Especially in the areas that get snow and ice.....How are they holding up? Functionality wise in those weather conditions. I have N-Fabs on my truck right now and on the normal days my size 14 foot doesn't like the steps that well and this winter with snow and ice accumulations on them really didn't like them so I've been considering saving and spending the whopping $1200 for the AMP steps since my feet would like them a lot more and I don't like steps that hang low

I have these in Iowa. Only issues I had were with snow build up; they wouldn't always raise all the way up. I just cleaned them off everytime I opened the door. Never slipped. Expensive but I definately recommend.

I have had them on my 2007 for one year and my 2014 for 2. I have never had a problem with them going up or down. I have the molded flaps which help keep the snow/ice off of them. They are always clean and dry even in the middle of the Michigan winter.

How did you guys with the amp steps cut the step for the double cabs? Anyone use a miter saw with a non ferrous blade? Amp says to use a hacksaw, would like a cleaner cut. Thanks

I used a dremel for the most part and finished off with hack saw. Once cut and the plastic cap goes back on, you'll never know. The cap covers over an inch of the cut end.

Just an FYI...

I ordered a GoRhino black textured exhaust tip and the textured coating lasted about a month or so in the winter. Granted, we have harsher climate and use salt/sand on the road - but I mean my paint or plastidip doesn't peel. Not very impressed for the price.

thanks for the info, these steps have a 5 year warranty and hopefully they will stand up to the test of the New Mexico weather....

Maybe so, but so far, no one has posted confirmation of receiving them. I spoke with Carid directly and did not get a good feeling regarding their customer service.

My sales rep at Off Road Warehouse has been in touch with GoRhino directly since I ordered them back in December. The last word he got in early March was that the GM truck version has yet to be manufactured. I'll give him a quick call today to see if he has any new info.

Does anyone have Raptor running boards? I'm looking at the 5 or 6 inch wheel to wheel ones. If anyone has these, could you post some pictures?

Thanks for any input.
