Not hard at all, they bolt into pre existing holes underneath. I installed them by myself in about an hour. I still love them! For the price, they can't be beat!

So no drilling extra holes etc? It's a literal bolt on? Im not super handy with truck stuff, so im hoping itll be an easy project

Did you need to lift the truck to install? (tire jack, etc?)

He's correct, no drilling at all. Literally 0 drilling. Don't even have to jack up the truck to install. There are 3 nuts that are welded to the body (i think thats what it is?) that are already threaded. you sit the bracket over the threaded holes, and you screw in the included bolts.

The frame holes in my 2016 Sierra 1500 weren't threaded. I had to put the included nut-clips through the holes, and used nuts and bolts for the bracket end on the lip. It was still a pretty easy install.

I ordered the DeeZee NXT boards last night to replace my 4" chrome GM steps. DeeZee has a 10% mail-in rebate on all their parts thru today. I went with the crew cab length boards for my double cab after seeing in pics that the double cab length boards fall a few inches short of the back of the cab. The longer boards will also help prevent some rock chips on the lower bed sides.

Post some pics once done. I am considering those to among a few others.

Same here, I don't really like the 4" GM OEM flat top round chrome steps. I like something wider to stand on like those 6" NXT. I'm just wondering what to do with the GM OEM boards, would they sell at a reasonable price?

Got mine from the dealer for free. My wife wanted them on the truck and argued with the sales manager till they gave in. :) They installed the 6" chrome version. I like them but have been thinking of spraying them black since I got my wheels/tires.

Got my DeeZee NXT boards on. The crew cag length boards (86") are perfect for a double cab. Their ext/double cab boards are only 73". They are fully adjustable front-back and 1" in-out. I have them set all the way out and they stick out the exact same distance as the factory steps. I'll get some better daylight pics later.

Hoosier,

What was your total cost? I went to their site and mounting hardware is additional but I couldn't find that cost without going thru checkout. I assume you (we) only have three mounting brackets on our double cabs?
