Thats good to know on the install. Maybe I will tackle this one myself. Thanks for solving the mystery - very cool indeed haha

Is there a way to tell if your buying the OBDII version?

Yes my friend if you’re buying online it will say it or if from a dealer they will know if it’s plug and play or not. If you’re even slightly mechanically inclined it will be no problem at all. Hope everything goes smoothly ?

Does anyone have pics of the HPC1475CC-TX installed on a Crew Cab Standard bed? These are the N-Fab Podium steps.

Loving the amp steps if anyone is thinking of getting these, nice clean look!  Install is free at 4wheel parts right now as well.

I paid $1399, had em installed about two weeks ago.  I think that's about the going price for them online, at least for the plug n play set.

It took me about two hours to install my amp steps and they are plug-and-play because it was my first time but I guarantee you if they install these on a regular basis they get them in about 45. Or less if you got two guys on it, that’s just good business you’re not losing a lot and you’re telling your customer you’re doing something for free which always makes it a little easier to get them to make the purchase. They are great steps regardless of who installs them.

I have had these installed on my truck for a year and a half now.

Very nice steps with outstanding instructions.  With the quality of the steps and the instructions, I feel even a novice could install them without problems.  Just take your time and follow the instructions.

They are much better the the GM folding running boards.  These tuck out of sight completely.

Put the ICI Magnum RTs on this weekend, loving them so far. Was a little worried they were hanging too low initially, but once I got everything tightened and adjusted where I wanted, they came out great. No flex, feel really strong and they're short wife approved emoji23.pngemoji23.png.

Has anyone installed the Havoc HS2 steps?  I'm curious to know how they're holding up for you?

I installed my Amp steps about two weeks ago. Took about 3 hours, 1 1/2 hours was routing the harness's and hooking up the LED's. Local dealer wanted $300.00 to install them if bought from them, and they were $ 400.00 more then I paid.

Jesus! The most I have EVER heard anyone charged to install amp steps was $100 and that being said most places I personally know of do it for free with purchase as long as plug-n-play or $50 for original style. Stay far far away from that place lol

Yeah, they wanted $1800.00 for the steps and over $2100.00 installed. I just crossed them of the my list of anyplace to do business with. Can't imagine they sell many . I ended up ordering them on Amazon for $1245.00.
