Nice. I'm debating also on removing the 3rd cat as well. If it's even a cat? No sensors are on it so it may be some sort of resonator.. I have a Corsa sport cat back waiting for me at my local dyno shop. My appointment is on the 13th so we'll see what actual gains I'll get with it. They also guarantee no drone with the straight thru design of the muffler. We'll see.... I'm sure with the Airaid intake I have and the exhaust there will be noticeable power gains. I'm still debating on a custom tune.. I have the opportunity to have one installed and dyno tuned but I'm a lil worried about the warranty going out the window. Thanks for the response are you gonna add some polished tips?

put a load of fir rounds in the box and dented the wheel bulges and scratched some paint in the box... does that count?

Well the trucks been at the dealership all day and is spending the night. Took her in for the recall and to ask about the radio/hvac knob light problem. My dealership hasn't seen this problem yet so no telling how long till I get my truck back

Turned off the traction control and let her rip at a stop light. I have never squeeled tire like that in my life! Lol. The kids got a kick out of it anyway.... There is a big noticeable difference in this 5.3 vs. the 2011 I had.

Mine was at the dealer for 10 days for that problem. Only reason I left it is because they gave me a brand new suburban rental and we had nasty weather that week.

Has anyone done a Line-X bedliner? If so, any problems?

I've got one installed and I love it. Wouldn't have it any other way. Stiffened up the bed quote a bit yzejezyz.jpg7e7usanu.jpg

Got an update from the dealership about my radio/hvac knobs. They ordered a new face plate with new knobs and all. Will be here tomorrow so hopefully I will get my truck back and it will all be working.

I had mine sprayed and they did an excellent job except they sprayed over the 9 cargo management holes which they later had to cut out. This of course prevents the plastic covers from being able to put back into the holes so I bought another set (4) of cargo tie downs from the dealer to cover the holes. The upside is that I have a lot of tie down points now. I also added the Bedrug Bed Mat to prevent stuff from sliding around. All looks great under Diamondback Tonneau.

Heres how mine sits now...... 7" lift along with 35" trail grapplers. Line x bed liner with Painted front bowtie. All badges included rear bowtie removed. 5" oval nerf bars and 2 10" subs inside. Thinking about the programmer but ill have to do a little more research because im not real sure what the benefits of it are. Sorry about the poor quaility of the picture.

    • ^^ Yep, that's all it was. The fuel line had rubbed through on one of the spider legs and was severely leaking. Even the lines/nut and bolt kit are harder to find and I think I paid $84 (Standard HK-11) for the kit. Ripoff. But when you're the only brand still making it...   There are a few things left before the truck is Atlas® Certified (and I've thoroughly spent too much on it considering what it's worth). My RockAuto shopping cart total is about $250 and growing:   -Radiator (there's a pinhole leak, driver's upper corner where a cooling line bolts in, the threaded insert weld cracked) -Water pump (mine squeaks, I assume it's shot) -Lower radiator hose (it's original, if replacing cooling parts, this shall be touched too) -Starter (It's not always engaging the flywheel, get the whirrrrrr sometimes when I turn the key but no crank) -Door hinge replacement pins (already purchased, need to install)   Suspect/borderline parts NOT included in shopping cart (only if I want to opt for bonus points): -Motor mounts. Someone twerked the radiator fan shroud, so I can't tell if the motor mounts are bad/squished or if it's truly just a deformed fan shroud. I reassembled the shroud correctly but the plastic is still re-forming/relaxing where it was all mangled and bent, and the fan still chafes it occasionally, but it's 99% better. -Left rear door speaker is blown -Rear wiper motor is shot (horrible grinding noise) -One of the wheels is missing the bowtie center cap. This drives me insane to look at, I'll just need to find a replacement.   I've already replaced: -Driver's door mirror -Idler pulley -Tensioner pulley -EGR -MAP sensor -Hood prop retainer -Intake plenum fuel lines -Intake gaskets -Thermostat (and flushed cooling system) -Radiator cap -Radiator overflow reservoir cap   And it needs tires, and could use a set of front brake pads, and the brake system flushed. And it could use a transmission service, and if I'm doing that, why not differentials, and transfer case, and oh hell, why not flush the power steering.   Is there anything I won't touch? Or...do I just get it to a point where I can send it down the road?
    • Was checking out a 39 Buick at a charity auction and found the statement on the cover of the owners manual interesting. What it can do for you, and what YOU can do for IT? Framing your ownership as a two way relationship! Seems this type of thinking is all but gone with the non-enthusiasts, and something like that would never be printed on the cover of a manual. It would likely offend people. Hey, I just spent two years salary on an SUV and it has the nerve to request anything back from me???? 😂
    • thanks, I'll look for that now.
